This website domain, www.meetmeformahjong.com (the “Site”), is owned and operated by Greenhill Enterprises LLC dba Meet Me For Mahjong (the “Company”). The Company serves as the central hub for information about the Company’s instructional services and provides access to booking private mahjong lessons and events through a third-party scheduling platform, Calendly (“Services”). By accessing or using our Site, including booking or attempting to book any Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use (“Terms”) and our Privacy Policy.

Description of Services

The Company offers the following Services: Private Mahjong lessons and group mahjong lessons and/or Mahjong lesson/play events. All Mahjong lessons and events shall have a minimum of 4 attendees and a maximum of 12 attendees.

Services may be offered in person, virtually, or both, as specified at the time of booking. All Services provided are for educational and recreational purposes only.

Booking and Scheduling via Calendly

All lesson and event bookings shall be completed through Calendly, a third-party scheduling service, unless otherwise discussed with and agreed upon by the Company. When you click on a booking link, you will be redirected to Calendly and subject to Calendly’s own terms of use and privacy policy.

Company does not control Calendly’s platform and is not responsible for technical issues, outages, scheduling errors, or data practices related to Calendly. Booking confirmations, reminders, cancellations, and rescheduling notifications are managed through Calendly.

You are responsible for providing accurate and complete information when booking.

Payments, Refunds, Rescheduling, Cancellations, and No-Shows

Payment for four (4) people will be requested upon booking, and the final payment owed will be based on the final number of attendees. The final payment owed must be received at least twenty-four (24) hours before the lesson/event start time.

There are NO REFUNDS on any bookings for any reason. Refunds shall only be granted at the Company’s sole discretion.

After a booking and payment is made, you may only reschedule the Services if permitted by Company and if Company has availability on its calendar to accommodate the reschedule request. All reschedule requests must be received by Company AT LEAST forty-eight (48) hours prior to the lesson or event start time. Subject to these restrictions, rescheduled lessons/events must be rescheduled within three (3) months of the original lesson/event date.

There are no refunds for cancelled lessons or events, unless the lesson or event is cancelled by Company.

Failure to attend a lesson or event will result in a forfeiture of the fees paid to Company. There will be no refunds issued by Company.

Educational Disclaimer and No Guarantee of Results

Mahjong instruction and lessons are subjective and skill based. Company makes no guarantees regarding skill improvement, gameplay outcomes, or mastery of Mahjong rules or strategies. Mahjong rules and variations may differ by region or organization. You acknowledge that participation in lessons or events does not guarantee any specific result.

Assumption of Risk (In-Person Events)

Participation in in-person lessons or events may involve inherent risks, including but not limited to personal injury, property damage, or loss. By attending an in-person lesson or event, you are voluntarily assuming all such risks and agree to release Company from liability to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Age Requirements

You must be at least 18 years old to book Services. If minors are permitted to attend lessons or events, bookings must be completed by a parent or legal guardian, who accepts full responsibility on behalf of the minor.

Intellectual Property

All content on this Site, including text, images, lesson materials, handouts, and instructional methods, is the intellectual property of Company and may not be copied, distributed, recorded, or reproduced without prior written consent.

Photo and Video Consent

By participating in any lesson or event hosted by Company or other party associated with Company, you grant Company and any other party collaborating on the lesson or event permission to photograph, record, or otherwise capture your likeness, voice, and participation in connection with the Services. You grant Company the perpetual, royalty-free, worldwide, irrevocable license to use, reproduce, modify, publish, and display such photographs or recordings for lawful business purposes, including marketing, promotional, educational, and website content, without compensation.

If you do not wish to be photographed or recorded, it is your responsibility to notify Company in writing prior to the start of the lesson or event.

Third-Party Services

The Site may include links or integrations with third-party services, including Calendly and payment processors. Company does not endorse and is not responsible for third-party services, content, or practices.  

Affiliate Links and Recommendations

Company may make recommendations featuring shopping links or resources for Mahjong accessories, supplies, or related products offered by third parties. Some of these links may be affiliate links, meaning Company may earn a commission if you click a link and make a purchase, at no additional cost to you.

Company does not manufacture, sell, or ship any products linked on this Site or through any affiliate links and is not responsible for product quality, safety, pricing, availability, shipping, returns, or customer service related to such products. Any purchase you make through a link or affiliate link on this Site or through Company’s recommendation is solely between you and the third-party seller and is subject to that seller’s terms, conditions, and policies.

Product references or recommendations are provided by Company for informational purposes only and do not constitute endorsement, warranties, or guarantees of any kind.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Company shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Site or participation in lessons or events.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Company from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the Site, violation of these Terms, or participation in any Services.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Connecticut.

Changes to Terms

Company reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Site and Services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
